Threatened Aquatic Species - Short Film
The Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Action (in partnership with the Arthur Rylah Institute and the Victorian Fisheries Authority) commissioned TrueView Films to create a short film about the incredible conservation work that is being done to establish new populations of threatened native fresh-water aquatic species. The film was shot in various locations across Victoria and features a new Conservation Hatchery which has been purpose-built to breed, restock and recover these species. In addition to the insights shared by DEECA and VFA staff, we are grateful for time and personal stories shared by Corey Walker (Yorta Yorta - Traditional Owner) and Shea Bloom (Women in Recreational Fishing).
